Synopsis
Li Xing, a 14 yo teenager, lives in the Great Phuket district of Kunming in central China, a setting of ruins and reconstruction that illustrates the transformation of contemporary China. School brings him nothing but problems and his family, in the grip of its own torments, does not help him to solve them. One day, he finds a shelter in an underground passage where he can escape his teenage life and where strange things happen…

After graduated from Beijing Normal University (Bachelor of Cinema), he worked as set photographer, making-of director and assistant director. In 2013 he came to France where he continued his study of fine art, he got his French National Art Diploma in 2016. The Great Phuket is his first feature film.
