Synopsis

1970s. JOE loses his wife in a horrifying accident that also injures him and his daughter SOPHIA. While Joe recovers, Sophia somehow is traumatized to a degree that she no longer speaks. After numerous attempts of failed treatment, Joe hears about a special healer near Tanjong Rambutan who has a home ward for children with trauma. Encouraged by a friend’s suggestion, Joe brings Sophia to the healer’s home. The healer Aishah, offers Joe a job as a workman to repair her house. While fixing the house, Joe begins having bizarre ghost-like sightings. So does Sophia, who sleeps in a room with the other girls. One night she sees an image of a creepy demonic entity coming out of an old bathroom-well, but it disappears when she wakes the others up.
