Synopsis
Misa Fujisawa (Mone Kamishiraishi) had just graduated college and started working when she had to leave her job due to her PMS (Pre- Menstrual Syndrome). She gets a new job at a small company named Kurita Optics. The people there are understanding of her symptoms, and she manages to keep her job. A new employee named Takatoshi Yamazoe (Hokuto Matsumura) comes to work there, and on a day when she’s having PMS, he does something small that makes her explode with anger. It turns out that Yamazoe also suffers from panic disorder, which forced him to give up on the life he had and reorient his life around living quietly and making sure his symptoms didn’t reoccur. One day, Yamazoe has a panic attack at work and can’t find his medicine. It’s Misa who finds it and gives it to him. She’d been given the same medicine for her PMS symptoms, so she comes to learn about his disorder. She opens up about her own illness to him as well, and offers to help him. At first, he’s reluctant to accept her help, but as the two of them interact, he also learns to calm her down before her anger explodes. Most of the other employees, including the CEO, are old and on the verge of retirement. They know that the two of them are dealing with problems in their lives, and watch over them and give them plenty of space. Yamazoe and Misa, with each other’s help, are gradually freed from the loneliness of their disorders…
Misa Fujisawa experiences premenstrual syndrome once a month. During those times, she tries to deal with her uncontrolled irritation at understanding her colleagues at work. One day, when she experiences PMS, her anger explodes at Takatoshi Yamazoe, who has recently begun working at the same company. It was just a small action that triggered her anger, causing her to feel self-hatred. Meanwhile, Takatoshi suffers from panic disorder. Due to that, he gave up on many things in his life and he carries a lethargic attitude to his life. Becoming aware of each other’s situation, Takatoshi Yamazoe and Misa Fujisawa begin to share a bond and try to help each other.
