HEART 2 HEART CHARITY GALA NIGHT
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 — Organized by Jazzy Group and supported by Malaysia International Film Festival and Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation, a charity dinner with the theme “Heart 2 Heart Charity Gala Night”will be held on 11th May at 7pm. The founders – SinJe Lee, Charlie Young, Valen Hsu and Gigi Leunghad supported the gala night through their action which will takes place at the Majestic Ballroom, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Even Gigi Leung could not attend the gala night, but she hadreached out and encouraged everyone to be actively involved in the event.
Sin Je get to know there was some slum area with numbers of poor families in Kuala Lumpur city, and she didn’t not expect until telling by her friend. Hence, the purpose of Little Yellow Flower is to help out those underprivileged children life and provide them a standard education opportunity. Moreover, Sin Je said the Little Yellow Flower is really important and it becomes her lifetime career in her life.
During the press conference, Sin Je hints that she might be featuring a performance with Michael Wong and Sylvia Chang at the charity gala night. In addition, there was an artists’ masterpiece auction to raise funds. Sin Je hopes“everyone could make a difference with your great generosity.”
Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation has been established since 2007 and reached out to over 100 underprivileged children. “Other than raising fund for the underprivileged children, we hope that “Heart 2 Heart Charity Gala Night” could raise awareness as well. Apart from that, Malaysia International Film Festival is honored to be the supporting partner of the “Heart 2 Heart Charity Gala Night. The festival believes that a film festival not just about exploring films but building someone’s dream. It aims to bring hope and give support to the underprivileged children.

With a great amount of love in their heart, four renowned artistes; Charlie Young, SinJe Lee, Valen Hsu and Gigi Leung formed a non-profit organization during Christmas 2007 known as Little Yellow Flower. Malaysia – Our Wonderland
When one hears the word “Wonderland”, they’ll be reminded of a place filled with happiness, cheer, bright and hope! This is what Little Yellow Flower’s Wonderland is all about! As further researches are done, it is found that urban poor is still a major issue despite how much a country is growing and planted with wonders around. Therefore, with specific issues pin-pointed, Little Yellow Flower is working with different people, children and communities around which have different needs hoping to break the chain of poverty and transform the people and children to have a better and brighter future ahead!
a) Spirit of the Little Yellow Flower
The story of the Foundation name comes from a small yellow flower which grows in the wilderness, staying alive and radiant despite harshness around. We use these flower’s spirits to encourage children to always have a positive outlook on their lives.
b) Feed
Urban poor is still a major problem in many countries and many children suffers from it. Meals are essential especially for children who are growing up. Poor nutrition contributes to lack of concentration, confusion, diseases and even death!
c) Education
Provide necessary education support for the children to be able to attend, read, write and cope better in school.
d) Activities
Various activities like creative education and activities (reading, painting, handiwork etc) are planned for children to explore more.
e) Transform
Breaking the chain of poverty and transforming life by helping the children lead towards a better life. We are able to help bring lasting change that will benefit the child and his/her family with your contribution.
